Andrew Ott, Esq.
Andrew Ott began his legal career as a contract attorney for the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Litigation in August of 1989. He was a member of the Exxon Valdez trial team through December of 2008, serving as a Plaintiff Attorney in the Class Action Lawsuit against Exxon from the Federal District Court, through the 9th Circuit of Appeals, and in the U.S. Supreme Court. He was also involved in the development of the rewards distribution plan resulting from the success of their case. He now provides his legal expertise to the Kodiak community, handling cases ranging from criminal and family law to business law and estate planning. Andrew Ott graduated with Honors from Seatlle University, and the Seattle University School of Law. He is a member of the bar in Alaska and Washington.He now resides on the island of Kodiak with his two children Michila and Aiden. He participates in the thriving community theatre program as a musician and performer, and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Kodiak Arts Council. As a former college and semi-pro soccer player, he is now deeply involved in the coaching and teaching of the sport with the Kodiak Youth Soccer program. He is also actively pursuing the development of a High School Varsity program.Mr. Ott has been a member of the Lions Club since 1995 and speaks fluent German.
